AUA HEALTH FAIR : Men’s Health Fair 2015
AUA holds a health fair every semester. This semester we will be holding the Health Fair for the Antiguan police force and teachers. It’s a free service that provides a general check-up for all Antiguans. It’s a great way for us to interact with the Antiguan community and helps us improve on skills we learn in FCM and ICM. Last semester we had a Men’s Health Day, where we had over 200 men who signed up to be seen. We focused on issues such as cardiovascular disorders and prostate cancer. All AMSA members are required to attend, please make sure to sign up ASAP.
Recycling Awareness Day Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015
We will be leading an initiative of a Recycling Awareness Day on Saturday Feb. 21st on AUA Campus for children from various schools. We will be working with the government to help children from 4 different school to come up with a recycling campaign for the community.
We will be making a discount page for AUA students, faculty, and staff. The page will include restaurants, stores, and local tourist’s activities.
